While LGBT+ Liberal Democrats Northern Ireland continue to speak up on matters of equality in Northern Ireland we appreciate that we are but one small cog in the process within Northern Ireland and other groups offer assistance in particular areas.

The Rainbow Project a health organisation that works to improve the physical, mental & emotional health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender people in Northern Ireland.

Cara-Friend offering social support in helping people come to terms with their sexual orientation – including information on health issues, coming out, the gay community and scene, etc. As well as seeking to educate and inform the public, and we are pleased to provide speakers at meetings of other organisations.

GLYNI (Gay and Lesbian Youth Northern Ireland) provides information and support to any and all young people who are questioning their sexuality.

Aware Defeat Depression A charity working exclusively with people experiencing depression and bi-polar. Information on support groups, education and training services and many resources on dealing with depression and bi-polar.

Gay Alcoholics Anonymous (Ireland) Supporting people who identify as  LGBT and recovering from alcoholism.

Live and Let Live Group (Derry) A fellowship of LGB&T  men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcholism and/or narcotic addiction.

Positive Life A HIV-specific charity which offers support services to all people affected by HIV in Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland
